Ingate Systems has a SIP aware firewall that has support for SRTP and
proven interoperability with Snom. With this product you would be able
to add packet inspection to your set up using SRTP as the means of
encryption.

I have managed to implement SRTP between 2 desktop PCs using Snom 360
UAs, MiniSIP UAs, and a CommuniGate Pro Server as the SIP
proxy/registrar. I also tested its vulnerability using Cain & Abel VoIP
packet sniffer as well as analyzed the traffic using Ethereal. Can
anyone suggest some improvements which can be added to SRTP to further
enhance its security/functionality? I only have a timeframe of 5-6 weeks
left for my project. Thanks.
Regards,
Rizal

VOIPSEC readers,
FYI, tonight I uploaded the latest podcast from Jonathan and I:
http://www.blueboxpodcast.com/2006/03/blue_box_podcas_7.html
Beyond the usual VOIPSEC news and comments, this one contains an
interview
with Micaela Giuhat of Sipera, an interesting VoIP startup that was
recently in the news for landing $13.2 million in a financing round.
I also recently uploaded the one show-floor recording I did at VON
earlier
this month - this one is with Jim Gallagher of Codenomicon:
http://www.blueboxpodcast.com/2006/03/blue_box_podcas_6.html
If you are not aware, Ari Takanen from Codenomicon has been active with
VOIPSA and sends in comments on this list from time to time.
Also, I believe I mentioned it earlier in the month but it is now
possible
to subscribe to updates about the podcast via e-mail instead of RSS:
http://www.blueboxpodcast.com/2006/03/you_can_now_sub.html
The RSS feed is of course still there but this is an alternative for
people who either can't access RSS or just plain wish the get the info
via
e-mail.
Enjoy,
Dan
P.S. I'll throw the teaser out that next week's show will have some
interviews providing good technical info related to the IETF session
last
week...
