[VOIPSEC] Asterisk with SRTP and SIP over TLS

Dear all, I want to know if anybody has implemented an Asterisk server (1.4 or 1.6) with SRTP and SIP over TLS, in order to encrypt both signaling and voice packets.

Does it really work ??

And in the affirmative case, does encryption increase the delay and maybe the voice quality becomes bad ???

Because I see this encryption methods are the more supported in the hardware IP phones.
