[VOIPSEC] FYI - OFCOM requires UK VoIP providers to be able to provide 911-equivalent (999/112)

VOIPSEC readers,

We don't often talk here about emergency services and VoIP, i.e.  
supporting 911 here in the US and equivalent numbers in other  
countries, but I thought some of you might be interested in this piece  
about the status of this topic in the UK:

Essentially, OFCOM has indicated that as of September 8th of this  
year, all VoIP providers in the UK must be able to support emergency  
calls to 999 and 112 (UK equivalents of US 911).
