VOIPSEC readers,

FYI, back on Friday I uploaded the first Blue Box *video* podcast where out
at VoiceCon last week I interviewed Sachin Joglekar from Sipera Systems
about the SIP softphone exploit they first demonstrated at Black Hat. You
can download or view the show here:

Comments and feedback are definitely welcome (and yes, I know that I say
"ok" a lot!). Do you see this as a useful way to expand the discussion
about VoIP security?

We haven't really played with video that much, largely because it can take
MORE time to edit/produce than audio and also because, let's face it, some
of the things we work with in VoIP security don't exactly lend themselves
to video. ("And here we have a Wireshark trace....") However, it's another
medium we can use to expand the conversation about VoIP security and so for
that reason I will continue to experiment with it under the Blue Box/VoIPSA
flag.

I would be curious to hear any feedback... and I may look to do video
interviews like this at future shows (especially if I can find content that
might be visually compelling).

Regards,
Dan

P.S. Please note that if there are others out there interested in
experimenting with video podcasts, we are certainly open to talking about
distributing them through the Blue Box feed. Drop me a note if you are
interested.

P.P.S. For those who want to know more about *how* I put the video together
using my Canon point-and-shoot camera and free tools, the info is here:
