Trust? Such a misunderstood word in business isn't it. Trust seems to 
involve solely the terms pay me, and "amount now due" for most 
businesses. I associate business with Spy vs. Spy from Mad Magazine 
where both spies look each other in the eye smiling while holding knives 
behind their backs.

More chips and identification won't help either. What will end up 
happening is more circumvention. What it sounds like to me more and more 
is: "If you don't play how I dictate you should play, then I don't want 
to be your friend." If you see nothing wrong with this concept, kudos to 
you. I feel its absurd, will lead to more issues than it will help and 
completely unproductive.
