[VOIPSEC] FYI - VOIPSA weblog postings... including Hank Cohen's guest contribution on VoIP cryptography and his views on the advantages/disadvantages of the various proposals

FYI, if you have not been following the "Voice of VOIPSA" weblog,  there 
have been a good number of recent postings on a range of different topics.

RSS reader. (VOIPSEC member) Martyn Davies has been writing recently, 
including one interesting piece about a T-Mobile subscriber contract 
prohibiting VoIP.  Dustin Trammell posted about a new messaging patent 
from Nintendo.... and there are a range of other postings there as well.

One longer piece that might be of interest to folks here is Hank Cohen's 
guest contribution on "VoIP and Cryptography" where he takes a look at 
cryptography in VoIP both for signalling and voice.  He explains the 
various proposals (including TLS/SSL, IPSec and Datagram TLS) and provides 
his view of the advantages and disadvantages of each proposal.  The full

I expect there may be those on this list with different views on the 
proposals, and such viewpoints are certainly welcome as either comments to 
the article... or if you comments are lengthy, another article is 
certainly welcome.

As previously mentioned, if you would like to write for the weblog, you 
are certainly welcome to do so.  Just drop me a note and I can send you 
the guidelines and info to get started.  There are a number of other 
authors who have set up accounts and told me they will be posting soon...
