I can not speak to Avaya, but I can send you some data on the cisco
stuff -
With Call Manager 5.x

With Call Manager 4.x

Look for the security chapters in both, very close to the same other
then some of the OS differences.
In the security section, there are links to some of the other security
features within the OS and other applications that are not covered.
Hope that helps, ciao,
Troy

Subject: [VOIPSEC] Securing VoIP
Does anyone know of any good whitepapers and/or info for securing VoIP,
specifically a Cisco and Avaya infrastructure?
I'm looking for a step-by-step guide to secure the callmanager, gateway,
IP phones and the switch. Does this sort of documentation even exist?
Any information would be much appreciated. Thank you for your time.
Thank you,
Paul
