Anand,

If you scan through the archives for this mailing list, available at:

  http://news.gmane.org/gmane.comp.voip.security.voipsa

you will find many discussions of these precise topics. There is a search
box at the bottom which allows you to search the archives.

You may also find the VOIPSA Threat Taxonomy useful:

  http://www.voipsa.org/Activities/taxonomy.php

The NIST report that came out in January 2005 is also a great tutorial on
the overall issues:

  http://csrc.nist.gov/publications/nistpubs/800-58/SP800-58-final.pdf

I also did a introductory presentation on VoIP security that also spoke
about some of these issues:

  http://www.blueboxpodcast.com/2006/05/blue_box_podcas.html

although the slides may or may not go to the degree of technical detail
you are seeking. Many others
have done similar presentations that may be useful... I don't have links
offhand but I have
seen them posted to the list so that you should be able to find them in
the list archive.

Regards,
Dan
