You may want to consider a hosted solution that will answer all your
routing, interconnectivity, and security needs. This will let you test
your products and services without having to invest in capex - and let
you be up and running much quicker. Once you understand your needs, the
pricing and hidden costs involved in buying and running your own SBC -
even an open source one - you will be in a better position to buy. You
may even find out that it makes more sense to continue to outsource.

I won't solicit, but if you are interested, I know a really good hosted
interconnectivity provider...
